A lot of users are enjoying Android 7.0 Nougat, especially its Multi-window feature, and it's time to upgrade once again. Android 8, also known as Android Oreo, was recently announced by Google as the new operating system version to succeed Android 7.0 Nougat.

Starting from August this year 2017, this latest Android O version will be rolling out via over-the-air (OTA) updates to some devices, and Pixel owners will be the first to receive it.

Pixel are the new set of Google owned Android phones, and as usual, they are always the first to enjoy google top services. However, LG V20 was the first device to run Android N, and the brand is still amongst the first five to debut Android 8.0 Oreo.

5 SMARTPHONE BRANDS THAT'LL GET ANDROID 8 FIRST
1. Google Pixel, Pixel XL
Being Google's own devices, the two Pixels are ought to begin receiving Android O as soon as it's officially out.

2. Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X
Google's former flagship phones will likely begin receiving Android O after the Pixels, but should be running it well before the year ends.

3. Samsung
Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+. Though no official Info yet, but these devices will likely receive Android OTA update in February 2018.
Galaxy Note 8: May likely come with Android 0 out of the box by Jan - Feb’18
Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge: Between March to April 2018
Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+: Spring time of 2018

4. Nokia
HMD promised that Nokia 3Nokia 5 & Nokia 6 will be getting Android 0 but at no given time for it.

5. LG
LG V30, LG G6, LG V20 and LG G5: hearsay suggested that this version of LG may likely get Android 0 early 2018.

For brands like Infinix, Gionee, Innjoo, iTel, Tecno (though Tecno promised to release Android 7.0 update for specific devices), and the rest, only God knows when they'll receive Android 8 update.
