HOW TO FIX ANDROID SYSTEM UI STOPPED WORKING

1 METHOD 
Restart Your Device: This error can be fixed simply by restarting your Android phone. After doing this, you are good to go, but if the problem still persists, you should checkout the second solution.

2 METHOD 
Google Update: This might be the cause of your system UI malfunctioning. So navigate to Settings » Application Manager or App » Google App » now tap on Uninstall updates option to stop the updates.

Now, restart your Android device and check if the Error is fixed or not.

3 METHOD 
1) Go to your device Settings
2) Select Applications » tap Menu » Select "Show system application" In pull-down menu.
3) locate "System Interface" among all applications. In "Memory" section perform clearing all data and cache. Again, restart your device and everything should be back to normal. 

Another category of smartphones subjected to this system UI error are those with lesser RAM. So, my advice is for you to try to upgrade to better smartphones from time to time.
